At our clinic, we believe that a healthy smile starts at home. Here's how you can keep your teeth, gums, and breath fresh every day!

  

✅ Daily Dental Routine

1. Brush Twice a Day

  • Use  a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
  • Brush for 2 minutes—once in the morning and once before bed.
  • Use gentle circular motions to clean every tooth surface.

2. Don’t Forget the Tongue

  • Bacteria thrive on the tongue—use a tongue scraper or your brush to clean it daily.

3. Floss Daily

  • Flossing removes plaque and food between teeth where brushes can't reach.

4. Rinse After Meals

  • If brushing isn't possible, rinse your mouth with water after eating.

5. Use Mouthwash

  • An antimicrobial or fluoride mouthwash helps reduce plaque and protect enamel.

  

🛑 Avoid These Habits

  • Excessive sugary snacks and drinks
  • Smoking or chewing tobacco
  • Using teeth to open packages or bite nails
  • Skipping dental checkups

  

🧒 For Kids & Parents

  • Begin brushing as soon as the first tooth erupts.
  • Supervise brushing until age 7–8.
  • Use a rice grain-sized amount of toothpaste for under 3 years, and pea-sized after.
  • Make brushing fun: songs, timers, or reward charts help!
